I met Casey last summer just as he was getting into 240's. Now after a short season of drifting under his belt he is taking his game to the next level; with an SR swap. He's one of the coolest kids I know. You can check his blog out here: http://driftingyoung.blogspot.com
Today I secured another storage unit for another car headed my way. I'm getting the car from someone I work with. It's currently stored in his family member's garage, which the house it's attached to just foreclosed. Just as I hit the highway to pickup said car I got the phone call. "Bad news, buddy.." The garage door was locked (he's been leaving it unlocked) and no one can unlock the house until this weekend. So I wait some more.
Went to CT this weekend. Friday night we stopped in Fitchburg to see Corinne's brother and his girlfriend graduate. They both took summer classes and finished early. We also had the pleasure of using public transportation, at it's finest.
Saturday morning I went down to Danbury and bought some coilovers and very dirty aluminum rear spindles. I'm pretty excited about the rear spindles. It's an upgrade I've had in my mind since I first heard about it.
On our way back we ran into a few highway characters.. A guy in a huge Dodge Ram was showing us how fast it could go, some dude in a black TL-S thought we wanted to race because we have an older black TL-S, and this S14. Another one from NH with a trailer hitch! WTF?!
Lastly are a few more parts I've picked up recently.. I also have a clutch on it's way to me (I think (I hope)). Most things are scattered about, still in their shipping boxes and/or combined with other like parts. It's a mess.
So a few weeks before the snow flew I finished my first bike build. I'm just now getting around to taking a picture of it. I didn't have much time at the storage unit today so this is all I got:
We got some snow yesterday. It was nice to stay inside most of the day, not having to go anywhere and stuff. It started snowing early, about 1AM here. The picture below was taken at 9:44am. It continued to snow until 9PM. Today, now that it's all cleaned up, we're ready for more!
Here is a photo taken two hours earlier from my doorstep.
