All in the family...

For some silly reason, Corinne and I decided that to keep it a small wedding, we needed a smaller than normal wedding party. I don't know how we got to that idea... We both had friends that we really wanted to be there, but left our family out. Sounds crazy, huh? Well it was...

Each of us have one sibling. Both were left out of the wedding. What?! Well, not anymore. My sister, Valerie, and Corinne's brother, Matt, are going to be apart of the wedding party. We both really want them to be there, and still can't remember what was so important that made us think they weren't going to be included... and that it would be ok.

Silly kids....

Pistons and pussy...

I have put together my pistons and rods. This was a pretty fun project!

This is Benjamina. She is a very funny cat. We got her from an ex co-worker of mine who didn't take very good car of her. She is emotionally challenged do to this. She was very underweight, but has grown into a beautiful, ever-loving cat. We are so happy she is ours!

It's gonig to be a party!

Today I finalized my side of the wedding party. My brother-in-law, Joe, will be my best man. Jay, Pat, and Tom will round out my groomsmen. I had considered others, but their names had more than 3 letters! Corinne has also got her side of the party together. Her friend from home, Tiffany, will be her made of honor, and Tina, Shelly, and Kim will be her bride's maids!

Not set in stone yet, but we are hoping my niece, Hailey, will be our flower girl (pictured)! She is four now, but will be five when the date comes around. So cute!!!

So long, Circles!

Today was the last day at my old job. I made a lot of friends there, most of which I will miss dearly. Job friends are funny though; you see the same people 5 days a week for 8+ hours a day. All you have in common with most of them is your job, and when you don't work there anymore what else is there? I hope to keep in touch with you! My peers at Circles were great. I had a lot of fun while at work. I will miss you guys/girls!

If you are wondering what's up with the photo.... that's a pig hat that Candy knitted, photo taken in an undisclosed location.

Hitting the slopes... HARD

Tom and I went snowboarding today. It was my first time of the season and it was awesome! The night was cut short however... I took a hard fall on my ass after catching my heal edge! Now I can't sit, bend over, and I'm in constant pain. It's going to be a long next couple of days......

Wedding update: Tom is going to be one of my groomsmen, and I will be one of his at his wedding! One down, three more to go!

Case of the Mondays...

It's Monday, which really doesn't mean anything in my book, accept I start a new job next Monday. Today will be me second to last day at my current job. I'm really going to miss a lot of people I work with there. That seems to be the case every time though. It's not the job I miss, it's those I worked with. As much as you say, "Keep in touch!" it never happens that way...

Either way, a celebration is in order!

Save the date!

Corinne and I went to Cottage by the Bay today to sign a contract for our wedding. In doing so we set our date; August 28th, 2010. We are having an evening wedding, starting around 5PM. We will be married outside by the gazebo, with the reception in their hall (that's a pic of inside the hall). We now have to decide whom will be in the wedding party. We have a good idea of who and just need to ask them! I find this process more exciting than I thought it would be!

First Post...

Hello. My name is Kevin and I am 24. I have a lot going for me right now... I am recently engaged to my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years, Corinne. I have decided to let Corinne make most of the decisions, as having it her way will make my life less painful! So far, our date is August 28th, 2010 and we plan to get married at Cottage by the Bay in Dover, NH (my home town!).

I also start a new job on February 1st. I have been trying to get this job for two years, and the last year has been tedious trying to do everything I need to get the job. It is a 4 year welding apprenticeship at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. I am very excited!

A little more about me; I love music and cars. I am a huge Nissan enthusiast. I play the guitar mostly, but also play bass and drums, and some other misc instruments. During the summer I spend a lot of time with my girl cruising the coast line of New Hampshire. We also try to attend as many car shows, cruises, and street nights at New England Dragway at humanly possible!

There is more I could say... but I won't. Traditionally, I've been against the idea of "blogging" however I figured I will see what all the hype is about!
